Halloween DARE cards

These might look like ATCs, but actually each one is a 5x7 inch greeting card.  These cards were made for family members to help celebrate Halloween.

Materials used:

black cardstock folded to 5x7 greeting card size
substrate is gelli plate print using acrylic paints

Tim Holtz paper dolls and washi tape

napkin (raven)

text is page torn from Edgard Allen Poe book 

acrylic paint

black pen for doodling

Ranger Archival black ink

various stamps including

The Eyes Have It

 Here is my offering for some on-line challenges.

This is a digital composition using autumn paper and cat image from Gecko Galz.

Autumn Birthday Card

It's been awhile since I posted.  I've been busy digital scrapbooking for my grandkids and dabbling in mixed media projects and art journaling.  Mixed media has carried over into my cardmaking.  This is a birthday card for my daughter.

The outside base is a Gelli plate print using acrylic paint. I then highlighted the raised leaves from the embossing folder.  The main image glued on top is a digital image from Vera Lane Studio which I colored with Copic markers. The inside base is made with Ken Oliver color burst powders.  I made a pocket and added some die cut and embossed leaves (Tim Holtz) from another Gelli plate print. Stamping both outside and inside is from STAMPlorations.
