Shabby Chic Lady

I made this tag

to enter this challenge:
Our Creative Corner:  Shabby Chic Challenge :  use colors in photo and include fabric flowers and a crown

This is the photo they gave us for inspiration:

To recreate the look of the dress form:

Stampin' Up White Creped Filter paper (rectangle piece) which I crushed and then dry embossed along the creases with Ranger Distress Inks in:
tattered rose, weathered wood, spun sugar, and dusty concord.  I then glued the crepe paper onto a white tag and used a brayer to smooth it out.

The fabric flower is from one of my blogging buddies on a former design team.  Thanks Carla!

Simplicity trims

Image was cropped, resized, and re-colored from Garden Girls collage sheet, this month's Gecko Galz release.  Edges are blade distressed.

crown is Jolee's Boutique dimensional sticker

vintage earring from stash

I love your interpretation of the dress form! It is sweetly shabagby chic and just the inspiration I need for a card I am going to make this weekend. Thanks for sharing...
