Camelot Collapses

I was in the ninth grade when President Kennedy was assassinated.  The emotion associated with that moment in time has never lessened for me
.
Don't let it be forgot that once there was a spot for one brief shining moment that was called Camelot.

I started with a castle tower image from the November Gecko Galz digital stamp set.  Using my software, I altered the image to create a collapsing effect.  The text also is computer generated.

Such a powerful piece and astonished at your creativity with your alteration of this image (I used it myself for my DT sample).
I wasn't born but my Mum has told me many times of her re-collection of watching it on the news. My Mum was captivated by them as a couple, in particular Jackie and the glamour of her.

What an amazing metaphor for a tragic day. I don't remember the event itself since I was under a year old, but I do remember the lasting impact of the Kennedy's and Jackie's perfection in style!
