Speaking of which, the October challenge is Fall Impressions and runs from October 1 to November 4.  This month we have a DOUBLE challenge for you.  Not only do we want to see a fall themed creation, BUT we also want to see some embossing on your project.  Now if you don't have any equipment to emboss, it is perfectly fine to use pre-embossed papers.  As long as there is embossing of some nature on your project, and of course it is fit into the fall theme, it will qualify for this challenge.

Back to my card for today:

I used the pumpkin outline and the sentiment from the Scarecrow set found in the store HERE.

I printed the pumpkin 3 times so that I could color one layer seperately on each pumpkin This allowed me to fussy cut each layer individually and then run each layer through the Big Shot with a different embossing folder. I also edged each section and the leaves with distress marker.

After using my Loew Cornell colored pencils, I chose coordinating cardstock mats to layer behind the pumpkin. The top brown mat was embossed with a tree/leaves. And I embossed leaves on a strip of pale green paper which is placed horizontally across the matching card behind the 3 mats.

I think these embossing folders make the pumpkin look very elegant and the Happy Harvest font pairs nicely.
