Holiday Candy Wrappers

I'm here with another Thursday blog design team inspiration for Imagine That! digis by Kris.

Summer is officially over.  I've already bought some mums for the front porch and soon will have to bring out those fall decorations.  Before we know it, those holidays will be upon us.  Time to start thinking about sweet treats to give to our sweeties.

Start with the luscious Fabulous Fall digi papers and your choice of large candy bars.  Use the full 6x6 size of each paper for the wrapper.  I used the orange polka dot for the October treats, chevron for November treats, and the rich red leaves for December treats.  I also cropped the olive grunge to a 3/8" strip.

This paper digi set is found in the store HERE.

I created my entire wrapper digitally before printing.  However, it is very possible to print the components separately, cut and layer with adhesive.

This is what the finished wrapper looks like before printing out:

Just print out, wrap it around your candy bar and adhere with adhesive where it overlaps in the back.

For my first two tags, I used Label 3 with the burnt orange digi paper. I resized this label to 3.287" wide x 1.913" wide.  Sounds odd, I know.  I just resized it to fit the "front" of the candy bar without thinking about "rounding up".    This tags and labels set is found in the store HERE

On one label, I resized and positioned the crows and pumpkins from this set found in store HERE.

On the other label, I resized and positioned the sentiment "many Thanks" from this set found in the store HERE.

On the third wrapper, I placed that adorable merry Christmas label.  (Isn't foxy cute wearing a Santa cap?) This set is found in the store HERE.

The possibilities for combinations are endless.  I hope I've inspired you to created some of your own candy wrappers for the upcoming holidays.
