Juggling

Sometimes I feel like I've got lots of balls in the air, hoping not to drop any of them!  So when I saw this delightful digi outline, Juggling Tiger,  by Gerda Steiner, I knew I had to create a card with it.

A free digi is given monthly in the Progressive Freebie Group at the Outlawz ning site.  If you use the image, you get the next month's freebie sent to you, etc. etc.

I came across this James Patterson quote.  It certainly gave me pause for thought....

Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends, and integrity. And you're keeping all of them in the air. But one day you finally come to understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls...are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.

I found it rather uncanny that Gerda's tiger is juggling five balls.  I made "work" the red rubber (for bouncing back) ball in the middle.  I know, deep thought for a cute image.  But let's hear it for all jugglers.

Other materials:
computer generated coloring and sentiment
Copic markers to highlight computer colored image
Ranger Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles (on balls and nose)
DCWV Animal Crackers cardstock

Did you know today is special?

So I'm also entering
Her Peaceful Garden 2016 Cat Lovers Hop  #134 Winner
because a tiger is included in the big cat category

That is really a cool quote and works so well as inspiration for the image (which reminds me, I haven't colored it yet for the Outlawz.) Fabulous card. xxD dlmundinger(at)yahoo(dot)com USA

That's a lot of philosophy for a juggling cat to carry... and I wish that all of them were rubber, and none glass. Thanks for sharing the quote and this adorable card.

What a great image and a sweet card. Those are some deep thoughts about the balls we are juggling. Thanks for explaining the progressive challenge. I've seen that tiger several places recently and thought it coincidental that so many used it. NOW I understand why.
