My take on another Wanderlust lesson which involved a dandelion. When I was little, I'd pick those white dandelions and blow them into the wind; I'm not sure I actually made wishes while doing it. I used a vellum envelope and wrote, on the tag inside, my wishes for things I love that I once again will be able to do after I get my COVID vaccine. The wishes range from hugging my kids to getting a haircut.
I had trouble finding a white pen that worked on top of acrylic paint, so I ended up using a fine brush and white acrylic paint. I used a fan brush to make the wispy dandelion tips.
Of course, I had to add a couple of digital printout images from Gecko Galz. And I happened to have washi tape that said make a wish!

Things I love to use over and over are my acrylic paints, stamps, black pen, and digital images. I also love digging around in years of craft stash to find the perfect embellishments.

I love your page. Dandelions are actually quite pretty once they've gone to seed. I love the idea of those seeds being your wishes. And your wishes are good ones. I hope you vaccinated soon, and hopefully we can all get back to our lives soon.Your page is perfect for Valerie's heavy metal challenge. Thanks for joining us at Art Journal JOurney. Hugs-Erika

Fab dandelion bloom and childhood memory (I have many). Love the idea of putting things you wish to do in the velum envelope, and all your details and wish words are so pretty. Great pages! Hoping you get your vaccine soo so you can make your wishes come true!
Dandelions to bring us back to our childhoods. Love yours against the gorgeous blue on these pages. Here's hoping and praying life will get back to normal, but who knows. Stay healthy.
Who can resist a dandelion gone to seed? I love your pages and how you've made a list of some of the finer things in life to wish for. Isn't it amazing what we had been taking for granted?! I'm tickled pink you shared your beautiful blue pages with us at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog!
