Another Alice Page

On June 10, Gingersnap Creations had a Mad Hatter Blog Hop. The DT each posted an amazing creation for us to enjoy while we visited their personal blogs to collect words to unscramble for a quote challenge to win a scrummy prize. I'm hoping I land those stamps because you know by now that I simply love anything Alice in Wonderland. We also were encouraged to hop along by posting something Alice on our own blogs and linking up to the GC post by June 25.

Needless to say, I'm still working on my Alice paper bag album. So every time one of these challenges comes along, I add another page. This time I finished page 1 by adding a pocket watch that I cut out from some G45 paper and stamping the rabbit and the smaller watch that says a very important date (stamps from Crafty Secrets) Note to self: no matter how much you want to do the cover first, remember that it makes it so much more difficult to stamp the inside. Then I cleverly added computer generated phrases in graduated sizes to emphasize I'm late. I didn't cut into the paper bag's shape which is why the bottom fold created a flap on the left side, allowing me an extra surface to place the image of Alice going down the hole (obtained from the Suzee Q Flickr site). The page on the right was my submission for the storybook challenge last month on GC's Yahoo! Group.
