The latest Rebel Challenge #22 April Showers has me thinking about combining products and techniques.
Please head over to the Rogue Redhead Designs blog for the details on my design team card and to learn more about the latest Rebel Challenge.
How fortuitous that the Rebel Challenge is in keeping with my cardmaking theme, April Showers Bring May Flowers.
Also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge: Use a Background Stamp.
I used the Rogue Redhead Designs bubble wrap background stamp from the Behinds the Scenes stamp plate. I used the background stamp in a different way in that I created rain to place behind my die cut window. To create rain, first I stamped with blue ink, then I turned the stamp around and stamped over the same area with gray ink.
We've had a temendous amount of rain here in the Midwest and are dealing with flooding issues everywhere. I hope you are keeping safe and dry.

Sweet card! Sounds like perfect weather to get cozy inside and create. Hugs,
Adorable card! Love the poor kitty who only wants to go out and play looking out the window! Hope you have a nice and dry weekend! We could use the rain, so send it this way!
Lovely card! It's dry here, but some rain is on its way! Valerie
Lovely card, love the window and the die cut to showcase the sentiment. The cat is adorable. Thanks so much for joining in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Tracy x
It's raining here too! Love how cleverly you created your rain! Sweet card. ~Diane

P.S. Unusually, we have a blue sky today!
Love the cat looking out waiting for the rain to stop.
Have a good weekend.

Lovin' how you put this together! Especially how the cat perches on the sentiment! Excellent!
Good idea for the rain- 2 ink colors. Sorry to hear about the flooding. We had little rain this winter, and temps this week are in the low 80's. Take care, stay dry!
A fabulous card Helene, I love how you've done the rain.
No rain here today - it's a lovely bright, sunny and frosty morning.
xxx Hazel.
A beautiful card, think the cat loves looking out of the window.
