Summer of '53

Yup, it's me along with my brother and sister and my mom, photos taken in the early 1950's at our first family home (apartment before then) in northern Illinois.
This is the August 19 Pages In Time sketch that I used:

The pinwheel flowers are DT Lacee's tutorial challenge this week in the Pages In Time Group:  Do It Yourself Because You Can.  The big pinwheel flower has a 5" base.  The smaller one has a 4" base.  This is the first time I made pinwheels!!!!!  YAY!!! I made two!!!!

Materials:
From my stash:
Pretty Little Studio: Vintage Tags: Little People mounted on chipboard circles for dimension
vintage BINGO number for the year
K&Co brads for the flower centers
My Mind's Eye Pretty Please Spring papers: polka dot for house

From Pages In Time:
Base: Melissa Frances: Trixie (turquoise with blue undertones to better match the vintage tags)
Bo Bunny: Petal Pushers Blossom Die Cut (PIT Design Team extra);
Kaiser Craft rhinestone script (PIT August kit)
Bo Bunny: Sophie Collection:  Sophie Stripe for the pinwheels (PIT previous kit)
white glitter flourishes

Here is the Pages In Time sketch posted today:
Have fun creating!  Don't forget to come back this weekend for our Pages In Time Design Team blog hop with prizes offered!!!!!!
