More Photos of the Rosebud Card

Here is another photo of my card for several challenges.
The main post is below.  The theme is based on an inspiration photo from the Shabby Tea Room, and the color palette also is from a Simply Scrapping Crafts card challenge using this color palette and a garden theme.  I was not happy with the photo for the Shabby Tea Room Challenge. I'm still learning with my phone camera.  I'll submit these photos for the rest of the challenges.  This photo is taken with the card flat on the table. I think you can see the details better. For the corner flourishes I used Prima Center Kisses and some misc. flowers and pearls from my stash. The oval scallop is cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities a couple of times so that I could sandwich the dress in-between and curl the dress up on one side for a 3-D effect.  The left side is Webster's Pages green crochet trim and a Paper Studio Spare Parts Buckle Slide decorated with pearl stickers.  Patterned paper from the girls' paperie. After cutting the patchwork pieces I wanted to use, I mounted them on white cardstock, then inked and wet distressed.  More materials used are in the post directly below.

This is a close-up of the great Red Lead Story Stamp: A Sweet Spring Story. After I stamped and cut out the dress, I highlighted the circles with my RV02 Sugared Almond Pink Copic marker and cut the sleeve lace and dress back to form it around the wire hanger (also purchased at Red Lead). I added a small ribbon rose by Offray to the waist. Here's a close-up of the 3-D effect for the Gingersnap Creations challenge:
How am I doing with my camera?  I think I'm getting it figured out!

Just darling. That first photo is fantastic. I have trouble getting things to stand up or lean on something. I started blogging at the end of June (you have visited me--thank you)
so I am still working on that.

That is a gorgeous card!!! I live in St. Louis but just have not gotten into Red Lead since they moved. I guess I will have to now... their stamps are great!! I used to love their selection of paper and then when they started creating their own stamps, I just had to have each of them!!! Times change I guess!! Anyway, your card is really beautiful!!!
